Product Launch Review : Collection Cosmetics SPF Range

Collection Cosmetics have released a new summer collection incorporating SPF and Vitamin E. The launch consists of five products ranging in price from £5.99 to £8.99. I haven't seen many reviews for this collection, so I thought I'd do one myself.

First Impressions

Packaging/ Aesthetics

• The packaging is beautiful and has a summery feel, perfect for this time of year. Its aesthetic works well for the target consumer market of teenagers and young adults.
• Not only is the packaging pretty, but it also gives clear instructions on how to use each product.
• Although I struggled to get the product out on my first use, the packaging became less stiff during subsequent uses.

The Products

• Primer: my makeup went on smoother when I used this. I usually go for primers with a dewy finish, so I was surprised by how much I liked this as it is marketed as a mattifying/ blurring primer.
• Powder: I don't have a lot to say about this product. It did the job well and is a nice size for travel.
• Bronzing drops: These are my personal favourite of the collection. They're subtle, pretty and made me look as if I'd been outside this week. I'll be taking these to Majorca.
• Lip Oil : Another product which is ideal for travelling. The formula feels hydrating and isn't overly sticky. The applicator is also a good size.
• Setting Spray: This did the job and kept my makeup in place.

Verdict/ Final note

I would recommend the primer, bronzing drops and lip oil. I think teenagers and young people will really enjoy this launch 😊
